Darin Raiken
Director of Acquisitions
Darin Raiken has been an investment banking and real estate professional for more than 15 years and is Director of Acquisitions at KRE Group, where he is responsible for the sourcing, structuring and negotiation of real estate acquisitions. Since joining KRE Group in 2007, Mr. Raiken has been instrumental in acquiring control of multifamily development sites for over 1,000 apartment units and has underwritten the prospective acquisition of an additional 4,500 apartment units and over 5.5 million square feet of commercial properties. Prior to joining KRE Group, Mr. Raiken was a Senior Vice President at Granite Partners (now Savills LLC), a real estate investment banking boutique, where he executed over $1 billion of real estate financings, dispositions and joint venture transactions. Prior to Granite Partners, Mr. Raiken was a Vice President in the mergers & acquisitions department of Morgan Stanley, where he advised on over $23 billion of acquisitions, executed over $3.5 billion in equity and debt financings and invested over $100 million for Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, the firm's private equity fund. Mr. Raiken received his A.B. in Economics (Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude) from Dartmouth College where he received the Rockefeller Prize in Economics and his M.Sc. in Economics from The London School of Economics, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
